Project Overview
Gephart provided electrical services for this expansion and renovation that featured a 300-room, 20-story hotel tower. The gaming floor was fully renovated and expanded to include 2,400 slots, 60 gaming tables, a VIP lounge, and multiple dining options. A new 1,400-space, covered parking garage connected to the hotel was also constructed.
Our Work
Gephart’s craftsmanship and creativity can be seen throughout the renovated property. Originally slated to have a metal ceiling over the gaming floor, project architect SOSHNY requested we evaluate alternative ideas. This resulted in our team designing and installing an incredible illuminated ceiling, flooding the gaming floor with 19,000 linear feet of programmable color-changing LED lighting. There is also a 200-foot-high external façade light display on the exterior of the hotel tower visible from downtown Memphis across the Mississippi River.
