Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort

THE PROJECT

Working with longtime partner Roy Anderson Corporation, Gephart delivered this fast-track project featuring an 18-story, 300-room, 202,000 SF hotel tower; a 213,000 SF casino on an elevated platform with 1,400 slot machines; and four restaurant venues, an event center, and a 36-hole championship level mini-golf course.

OUR PLANNING

Gephart was brought on as a design/assist contractor during the design phase a so we could assist with design development and cost management. This process allowed Gephart to provide an alternate equal light fixture package that saved the project roughly two million dollars. A comfort level was also developed between Gephart and the Architect and additional work scopes were contracted on a design/build basis, including the pool, mini-golf course, and steakhouse restaurant.

OUR WORK

Gephart completed all electrical and low voltage systems work for the project which features over three miles of LED cove lighting, two 1000 kW generators, five large UPS systems, a continuous cellular floor deck, and intricate lighting control, audio visual, surveillance and access control systems.

SUCCESS

This extravagant property was delivered under budget in just 15 months.

"For over 20 years, Roy Anderson Corp has trusted Gephart Electric to deliver on fast-track, early-participation, design-assist major projects. Gephart succeeded once again at the Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort by meeting the aggressive schedule in a difficult labor market and completing the project under budget and with uncompromising quality. Gephart led the charge to help complete the details of the electrical design and was a valuable team member in pushing the project to an on-time delivery by utilizing prefabrication, BIM, and technology in the field. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Gephart Electric as we can count on them to deliver on big, tough, fast projects."
